What's wrong with me?

Chocolate inventory as of today:
  • 1/2 bag of Mini-Reese Pieces
  • 1/2 bag of Hershey Caramel Kisses
  • 1 Aero Bar
  • 2 Fruit & Nut Bars
  • 2 Toblerone Bars (400g)
  • 1 box of Pearson Mints
  • 1 box of Truffles
Being the intensely devout chocolate lover I am, my rate of chocolate consumption has hit an all-time low. I'm honestly suprised by how much chocolate I still have left from Christmas. A few years ago I could consume one large box of Ferrrero Rocher in one sitting. The exact cause in the decline is not clear to me. One might ask how much chocolate I've eaten since Christmas and its not that much...one box of Purdy's, one bar of Toblerone, some Reeses Pieces and Kisses, and a few chocolate mints. It's a very modest amount by my standards, so i must ask...what's wrong with me? What's even worse is that I don't even want to share my chocolate!!! Talk about selfish, eh?

Perhaps you've acquired the taste for the expensive chocolates like Godiva. These everyday chocolates just aren't satisfying your cravings. WT pretty much refuses to eat anything but Godiva or better. :) She doesn't really like the Hershey Cadbury stuff.

Or it could be that you are getting a better substitute for chocolate and you don't even know it. Isn't chocolate a substitute for doing the horizontal polka?
I think that's the real reason. Right NL?

It might be because you acquired the taste for dark chocolate not necessary expensive chocolate making you a true chocolate lover. I don't think I really ever liked the Hershey or usual milk chocolate brands (I will eat it if I'm hungry). Only the expensive dark chocolate does it for me, it's better than any substitute. :) I don't like to share my good chocolates either but I have no problem sharing the chocolate I don't care for.

whatever, RJT. I know YOU don't really care for chocolate that much, yet your S.O. LOVES it. So, what's your substitute?

I like your theory, WT. I do eat a little bit of chocolate every day, and its usually the milk stuff. I find the milk chocolate can satisfy that hunger quickly...mainly because its a sugar high.

har, har... RJT. the countdown has started for the horizontal polka!

Afterwards, Cy might not even attempt to touch chocolate again ;)
