Why does it seem that there are more white guys dating asian girls, than there are asian guys dating white girls?
It's been an age-old question among Asian guys since the beginning of time...and perhaps this finally answers the question.

This was an awesome video, and the production is so well done! It's been making its way amongst the Asian circles, and definitely worth getting in trouble at work for.
I'll check the video out soon. But I have my own opinion on this:
1) Some white guys just have the asian fetish thing. They like the "exotic-ness" of asians, and quite frankly, I don't like it. But I'm biased, and I don't like anyone who just goes out with a certain race because they like a little chinese *ss. Excuse my tone.
2) White girls don't go for Asian guys because "Chinese" is not cool. CBCs have a higher chance, but still, most of us are just dweebs... the cool factor just isn't there.
I could go on on both of these, but I'm at work and so I won't.
Kevo, I don't buy your "chinese is uncool" theory. My mom's family married all white, granted there were fewer chinese girls for them to choose from. But you also have to realise that this is in a small town which may make it even harder for a yellow man pick up a white girl.

I kinda agree that the "exotic" nature of Asian girls are a big draw to white guys. Many of these relationships can last, yet many fail because they realize their values or attitudes are just so different.
But I think for many asian girls, the desire to date white guys is just a phase. After all, I'm marrying a Chinese woman who always went for white guys before she met me ;-)
From a Filipino guy that has always dated white girls (except for one Japanese girl), then married a white girl, all I can say is that it’s a 2 way street. And while I agree that the typical scenario is the white guy, Asian girl (damn, there’s a whole area in the prono section dedicated to his phenomenon) it’s not to say white girls don’t dig the Asian brothers. I was at a club not too long ago and I met a gorgeous black girl that was totally into Chinese guys. She loved the Asian male mystique. Chinese is uncool? Doubt it… if you’re trying to score the white girl maybe you just need to try a different approach. Women of all races typically want the guy that is confident, witty, has a backbone, yet kind… If you’re good looking, that’s just easier… but it can be done.
If a girl isn't into you, maybe it's because you just aren't what she's looking for. Regardless of race.
I don't reaaly think asian guys are into white/black/latino etc. but a lot of white/black/latino etc. are into asian girls
Every country is experiencing this. Even in Japan there is increasing number of mixed marriages. Who's to say right or wrong, it just happens

OK. I live in nyc and I have noticed more white men dating asian women and heres what I ASSUME: White men want diversity but dont want to deal with latinas or black women b/c we are known to be more aggressive and dramatic. Asian women seem more submissive(easier to manipulate) and it also helps that they have light skin and straight hair so they can pass. Basically i think the majority of white men who date asian women really like this fresh personality and asian womans physical appearance makes it easier for them to blend in seemlessly with white people. Its a new blend of cultures at first I was shocked, then intrigued BUT NOW Im looking forward to the impact interracial coupling will do for society! Will our values, ideas, prejudices shift and become something else? I hope so.THIS CAN BE A VERY BEAUTIFUL THING...So lets b free to love who we love. 2009 HERE WE COME!
